Takane quartz mechanism is easy to install without tools. Our kit includes stamped metal, modern-style, black hands. The minute hand is 3-1/2" long and the hour hand is 2-1/2" long. The threaded mounting shaft is 7/16" long and can be used with clock dials up to 5/16" thick with a 3/8" round mounting hole. Mounting hardware, hanger and instructions are included. This compact movement is only 2-1/8" square and 9/16" thick and takes one (1) AA battery (not included).
