Where the therapist, without using any devices, presses the joints and muscles in a professional way to reduce pain and muscle tension,
There are three applications of manual physiotherapy:
Massage: It is pressure on soft tissues and muscles, which leads to relaxation of these muscles, breaking damaged muscles, and stimulating blood circulation to this area, which leads to reducing pain.
Filling/manipulating: movements at different speeds (slow to fast), Flexion, pulling, or pushing force (light to force) and stretching (called “amplitude”) to flex bones and joints.
Moving the soft tissues: It aims to activate the joints and the surrounding muscles, which reduces muscle tension. Moving the soft tissues stimulates the tissue fluids, which leads to the treatment of fibrous adhesions and thus the treatment of pain and muscle tension resulting from them. This method of treatment is effective in treating problems such as herniated disc. Neck straightening, muscle tear, shoulder stiffness, post-hip replacement pain, and more.
